“No Ordinary Lie” – As Alicia counsels a client whether to accept a strict plea deal, she’s distracted by Peter’s newest political rival, whose actions force her back into the public spotlight.

GCB – 10/9c ABC
“Pride Comes Before a Fall” – Pastor Tudor’s rivalry with Reverend Steve has Amanda taking charge of a church musical that was written by Heather in high school. The GCBs come out of the woodwork, resulting in a sing-off between Carlene and Cricket. Meanwhile, Sharon takes her “Losing it with Jesus” weight loss program to the next level and recruits Gigi to help.

Girls – 10:30/9:30c HBO
“Pilot” – Hannah (Lena Dunham), a 24-year-old aspiring writer living in New York City, is blindsided when her parents (Becky Ann Baker, Peter Scolari) cut her off financially. Subsequently fired from her unpaid internship, she seeks comfort in Adam (Adam Driver), the eccentric actor she sometimes sleeps with when she can get him to respond to her texts. Meanwhile, Hannah’s best friend and Type-A roommate, Marnie (Allison Williams), hosts a dinner party for their bohemian British friend Jessa (Jemima Kirke), who’s returned from god-knows-where to move in with Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet), Jessa’s younger, “Sex and the City”-obsessed cousin.
