Community – NBC 8/7c
“Advanced Gay” – When Pierce learns that he and his Hawthorne wipes have become extremely popular, he decides to throw a big party – until his overbearing father, Cornelius Hawthorne (Larry Cedar, “Deadwood,”) shows up and puts the kibosh on the plans. Meanwhile, Troy finds himself being courted by Vice Dean Laybourne and his secretive Air Conditioning Repair Annex, as well as Greendale’s resident janitor, Jerry (Jerry Minor, “Lucky Louie”).

Parks & Recreation – NBC  8:30/7:30c
“End of the World” – A local Pawnee group predicts that the end of the world is coming, causing Leslie and others to contemplate their lives. Tom decides to throw the best party ever before he loses his office space, while April helps Andy complete his “bucket list” before the world ends.

The Vampire Diaries – the CW 8/7c
“Ordinary People” – With help from Elena and Bonnie, Alaric tries to decipher the meaning behind his recent discovery. Elena and Rebekah (guest star Claire Holt) engage in a mean-girl power struggle, until Rebekah finally reveals some of her family’s ancient secrets and the violent past she shares with Klaus and Elijah. Damon tries a reckless new approach to make a breakthrough with Stefan, and they’re both surprised by an unlikely ally.

Bones – FOX 9/8c – SEASON PREMIERE
“The Memories in the Shallow Grave” – When the Jeffersonian team identifies the remains of a woman found in a paintball field, they discover two missing-persons reports in her file. Booth and Sweets (John Francis Daley) interrogate the victim’s husband (guest star Brad Greenquist) and learn that she suffered from amnesia. When squint Wendell Bray (guest star Michael Grant Terry) learns that she also survived a bullet wound, inconsistencies in her medical records uncover a surprising crime linked to her murder. Meanwhile, Brennan and Booth adjust to their new roles as an expectant couple and deal with the forthcoming changes in their home life.

Person of Interest – CBS 9/8c
“Witness” – The Machine identifies a school teacher who witnessed a mob hit as their next POI and Reese and Finch rush to save his life.

Whitney – NBC 9:30/8:30c
“Two Broke-Up Guys” – Whitney and Alex try to spend quality time together by playing a game of basketball, but it’s a full-court press of stress when someone ends up being a poor sport. Elsewhere, Lily goes to extremes in a bid to impress Neal’s mother.

The Secret Circle – the CW 9/8c
“Beneath” – After not hearing from her grandmother for a couple of days, Cassie becomes concerned and wants to go look for her. Diana decides the entire Circle should go in case Jane is in trouble. She also invites Jake (guest star Chris Zylka) along, much to Adam’s dismay. A storm turns the day trip into an overnight excursion, so Faye suggests a little game of Truth or Dare to liven up the evening. However, things take a horrible turn when Faye is forced to reckon with someone from her past.

The Mentalist – CBS 10/9c
“Blinking Red Light” – The search for a serial killer hits close to home for Jane when he encounters a blogger who has devoted his life to finding the killer.

Prime Suspect – NBC 10/9c
“Gone to Pieces” – Duffy tries to pawn off a routine hit and run off on Jane when he thinks the case is a dead end. Jane and Evrard work on murder case that leads them to suspect a porn king was involved. Meanwhile, Sweeney gives Duffy some valuable advice.
