Fall TV Preview Parties at the Paley Center

By  |

For a number of years now, the Paley Center for Media – both in New York and Beverly Hills – have held their annual “Fall TV Preview Parties,” hosting a special night dedicated to each of the major networks. Each night’s parties includes airings of several pilots for new and/or returning shows on the networks as well as visits by some of the networks’ stars.

This year the Beverly Hills location will host the following events, starting later this week:

Thursday, September 9

Undercovers

NBC will provide previews of their new one hour dramas The Event, Chase and Undercovers as well as their new half-hour comedy Outsourced, including a panel with the stars of the comedy. The party will begin at 6 PM with the first screening at 7 PM.

Friday, September 10

The new CBS comedies Mike & Molly and $#*! My Dad Says and the new one-hour drama The Defenders will be previewed along with a visit by some of the CBS stars in person. Again, the party will begin at 6 PM with the first screening at 7 PM.

Monday, September 13

Lone Star

FOX will preview their new drama series Lone Star and the new comedies Raising Hope and Running Wilde. This night’s event will start one hour earlier at 5 PM with the panel of FOX stars at 6 PM and the screenings at 6:30 PM.

Tuesday, September 14

The new ABC dramas No Ordinary Family and My Generation and the new comedy Better With You as well as a bonus screening of the season premiere of The Middle. Once again, the party will begin at 6 PM followed by a special panel with some of the ABC stars and the screenings to begin at 7:30 PM.

Wednesday, September 15

Nikita

Concluding the Fall Preview Parties will be The CW. The network will preview their two new dramas Hellcats and Nikita as well as the premiere screening of one of their hit returning shows. This final party will begin at 6 PM with some of the networks’ stars appearing followed by the screenings at 7:30 PM.

Meanwhile, at the New York branch of the Paley Center, these same events – minus the panels featuring the networks’ stars – will be presented over the weekend of September 11 and 12.

On September 11, NBC and CBS will present their screenings, starting with NBC at 12:30 PM and CBS at 3:15 PM. And, then on September 12, FOX will start out the day at 12:30 PM, ABC at 2 PM and the CW at 4:15 PM.

You can find out if there are any tickets still available by visiting the Paley Center’s website. The Beverly Hills parties can be found here and the New York parties can be found here.
