They Deserve Their Own Show (Part 51)

Here is the next installment of actors and actresses who are under-appreciated, deserving of more attention or perhaps even their own show:

Carmen Moore

Carmen Moore – Her first TV roles included The Commish, Two, Stargate: SG-1, First Wave and Seven Days. She then appeared in the short-lived series Wolf Lake and a short recurring role in Andromeda. She has appeared in episodes of The 4400, Smallville, Eureka, Stargate: Atlantis, Kyle XY and Psych. She has appeared in the made-for-TV movies Rose Hill, Killer Hair and Meteor Storm. She also was seen in the webisodes Battlestar Galactica: The Resistance.

Andrea Parker

Andrea Parker – Best known for her roles in The Pretender and Less Than Perfect, Andrea appeared in episodes of The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr., Ellen, Coach and Murder, She Wrote. She also had a short recurring role in the early days of ER. She also appeared in the first 5 episodes of the long-running series JAG. She appeared in the made-for-TV movies The Pretender 2001 and The Pretender: Island of the Haunted. Most recently she has been seen in episodes of The Mentalist, My Name Is Earl and CSI: Miami.

Heather Stephens

Heather Stephens – Heather’s first TV appearance was in an episode of The Drew Carey Show then she guest starred in Cybill, Beverly Hills 90210 and Baywatch. She then made appearances in Angel, Without A Trace, Las Vegas and Desperate Housewives. More recently she has been seen in episodes of CSI, CSI: Miami and Moonlight. She also had a lead role in the short-lived series The Forgotten. She will be seen in the movie My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend, which stars Alyssa Milano and Christopher Gorham.

Paul Popowich

Paul Popowich – Paul got his first break in television in the 1990’s version of the Hardy Boys and then appeared in numerous episodes of Beverly Hills 90210. He guest starred in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Nash Bridges, Promised Land and Dark Angel. He appeared in a recurring role in the series Twice in a Lifetime and the short-lived series Angela’s Eyes. He also had roles in episodes of Beautiful People, The L Word and Mutant X. He was in the made-for-TV movies I Me Wed with Erica Durance (Smallville) and Pirates of Silicon Valley with Anthony Michael Hall. He can currently be seen in the Canadian series The Bridge and was just seen in the made-for-TV movie When Love Is Not Enough: The Lois Wilson Story.

Paul Telfer

Paul Telfer – Paul has made a name for himself in period pieces such as the lead role in the made-for-TV movie Hercules and as one of the supporting cast in the made-for-TV movie Spartacus (that starred Goran Visnjic). He appeared in numerous episodes of the British series Hotel Babylon and then guest starred in three episodes of NCIS. He will be seen in the box office movie Son of Morning with Heather Graham, Danny Glover and Jamie-Lynn Sigler.

Dominic Zamprogna

Dominic Zamprogna – Dominic is currently best known for his role in the daytime soap General Hospital, but he is also known in the sci-fi genre for his role in Battlestar Galactica and his long-running role in the Canadian series Edgemont. His first big break, though, was on the Canadian series Are You Afraid of the Dark? Later he appeared in episodes of Odyssey 5, Touching Evil, Tru Calling and Supernatural. He also appeared in episodes of Painkiller Jane, Bionic Woman, Flash Gordon, The L-Word, Smallville and Stargate Universe. He was also in the made-for-TV movie Hostile Makeover and the box office film 2012.
