They Deserve Their Own Show (Part 14)

Here is the next installment of actors and actresses who are under-appreciated, deserving of more attention or perhaps even their own show:

Margarita Levieva

Margarita Levieva

Margarita Levieva – Margarita was first noticed in the short-lived FOX series Vanished alongside Kings star Christopher Egan and was in the movie The Invisible with Justin Chatwin. She was in the box office movie Adventureland, and had a guest appearance in an episode of the short-lived NBC series Kings.

Peyton List

Peyton List

Peyton List – Peyton got her start in the soap As the World Turns then she appeared as Lois’s little sister Lucy in an episode of Smallville before moving on to guest roles in Without A Trace, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY and One Tree Hill. She landed roles in both short-lived series Windfall and Big Shots and had several appearances in the short-lived series Day Break. More recently she has appeared in Moonlight, Ghost Whisperer, Monk, CSI and several appearances in Mad Men. She appeared in the movie The Greatest Game Ever Played with Shia LaBeouf.  And, she will be seen in the new fall series Flash Forward alongside Joseph Fiennes and Sonya Walger.

Sabrina Lloyd

Sabrina Lloyd

Sabrina Lloyd – Sabrina is probably best known from her roles as Wade Wells in Sliders and as Natalie Hurley in Sports Night. She made guest appearances in Superboy, Law & Order and Madigan Men and had a small recurring role on Ed and appeared in the first season of Numb3rs. She will also appear in the movie Hello, Lonesome.

Matt Lanter

Matt Lanter

Matt Lanter – Matt made his first TV appearance in the reality series Manhunt: The Search for America’s Most Gorgeous Male Model then he moved on to the short-lived series Point Pleasant and Commander in Chief. He was seen in several episodes of Heroes and then made guest appearances on Grey’s Anatomy, Monk and Life. He is now in the revamped 90210 and his voice has been featured in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.  His other movie work includes Disaster Movie and The Cutting Edge 3: Chasing the Dream.  He will be seen in the box office movies Sorority Row and The Roommate alongside Cam Gigandet, Leigton Meester and Minka Kelly.

Scott Lawrence

Scott Lawrence

Scott Lawrence – Scott has a lengthy resume, dating back to the late 1980s. Some of his earlier work includes Midnight Caller, Tour of Duty, China Beach and Quantum Leap. His did voice work for a number of Star Wars animated specials, appeared in numerous episodes of Brimstone then spent quite a bit of time on JAG. He has recently been seen on Bones, Without A Trace, Standoff, Medium, The Mentalist and 24. He was seen in the movie Cloverfield and will soon be seen in the James Cameron movie Avatar.

James Leary

James Leary

James Leary – Best known as Clem, the floppy eared demon in Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, James’ resume is not (yet) jam-packed with work, but he first appeared on stage at the age of thirteen and then became a founding member of an improv comedy troupe called Freudian Slip. He studied with both Second City and Improv Olympics in Chicago and for 3 years he starred in the Telemundo series Beltrán, Los. He  also had a guest appearance in Lisa Kudrow‘s short-lived comedy The Comeback.

Using her favorite online handle, Rueben is an East Coast-bred gal who is now a permanent Californian and a lifelong tv-oholic.
