They Deserve Their Own Show (Part 11)

Here is the next installment of actors and actresses who are under-appreciated, deserving of more attention or perhaps even their own show:

Gina Holden

Gina Holden

Gina Holden – She has had one-time guest appearances in The L Word, The Dead Zone and Supernatural, but folks will best know her from her roles as Coreen Fennel in Blood Ties and Dale Arden in Flash Gordon. Some of her movies include Butterfly Effect 2, Thomas Kinkade’s Home for Christmas, and AVPR: Aliens vs. Predator. She was most recently seen in the CBS series Harper’s Island and she has a role in the upcoming Jennifer Aniston/Aaron Eckhart movie Love Happens.

Katharine Isabelle

Katharine Isabelle

Katharine Isabelle – Katharine has been a staple in loads of D-rated sci-fi movies and TV shows, but folks may remember her as Ava Wilson in Supernatural or as Yarrow in the Sci-Fi Channel mini-series Earthsea. She has recently been seen in The L Word, Sanctuary and Psych as well as the ABC Family Channel movie Another Cinderella Story alongside Selena Gomez and Jane Lynch. She most recently appeared in the Lifetime Movie Network movies Killer Hair and Hostile Makeover and will be seen in the pilot episode of The Good Wife.

Monica Keena

Monica Keena

Monica Keena – Her first role was as Oksana Baiul, the Olympic medalist, in the made-for-TV movie A Promise Kept then she appeared in the Sandra Bullock movie While You Were Sleeping, but she is best known for her role as Abby Morgan in Dawson’s Creek. Monica has also been seen in the made-for-TV movies First Daughter and All She Wants for Christmas, the short-lived series Undeclared and has made appearances in Entourage, Without a Trace, Ghost Whisperer and Grey’s Anatomy. She will also appear in the horror movie Night of the Demons with Edward Furlong and Shannon Elizabeth.

Gus Hoffman

Gus Hoffman

Gus Hoffman – He made guest appearances on The George Lopez Show, Zoey 101 and The Bernie Mac Show before being featured in several episodes of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and then moved on to a recurring role in Lincoln Heights. His movie appearances include Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins and the made-for-TV movie Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story.

Josh Hopkins

Josh Hopkins

Josh Hopkins – Josh will be recognizable to a lot of people because of his role in the short-lived CBS drama Swingtown, but prior to that he has appeared in Pepper Dennis, Brother & Sisters, Ally McBeal, North Shore and Vanished. He  appeared in a multi-episode arc of Private Practice, was cast in the new ABC comedy Cougar Town and will appeared in the series finale of Pushing Daisies. He will also appear in the movie Lebanon with Samantha Mathis.

Kieren Hutchison

Kieren Hutchison

Kieren Hutchison – Kieren starred alongside his wife Nicole Tubiola in the ABC Family Channel series Wildfire and was the lead in the short-lived series Monarch Cove. He has also appeared in Xena: Warrior Princess, Young Hercules, The Adventures of the Swiss Family Robinson, The Legend of William Tell, One Tree Hill and Ghost Whisperer.
