They Deserve Their Own Show (Part 6)

Here is the next installment of actors and actresses who are under-appreciated, deserving to get more attention or perhaps even their own show:

Aubrey Dollar

Aubrey Dollar

Aubrey Dollar – One of Aubrey’s first roles was in American Gothic then she moved on to several guest appearances on Dawson’s Creek and The Guiding Light. She then landed a role in the short-lived FOX drama Point Pleasant as well as a role in the short-lived ABC series Women’s Murder Club. She appeared in an episode of the remake of Cupid. Her movie work includes Save the Last Dance 2 and Failure to Launch.

Sarah Drew

Sarah Drew

Sarah Drew – MTV fans will know Sarah as Stacy Rowe from the series Daria, but many viewers will remember her as Hannah from Everwood. She also made a memorable guest role in Medium, has played Megan’s best friend on the short-lived CW series Privileged and made an impression in her guest starring role on Mad Men.  She recently appeared in episodes of In Plain Sight, Castle, Private Practice and Numb3rs.  And, she starred in the made-for-TV movie  Front of the Class from the Hallmark Hall of Fame.

Gretchn Egolf

Gretchn Egolf

Gretchen Egolf – Gretchen’s first real work was in the CBS series Martial Law then she moved on to Roswell’s second season and had a lead role in the short-lived NBC series Journeyman. Since the demise of that series, she has been featured in Medium, NCIS, Knight Rider, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Ghost Whisperer and Criminal Minds. She had a role in the made-for-TV movie The Two Mrs. Kissels and the indie film The Namesake.  She was also recently seen in the box office movie The Hangover.

Alexis Denisof

Alexis Denisof

Alexis Denisof – Fans of Buffy, the Vampire Slayer and Angel will know Alexis immediately for his iconic role as Wesley Wyndam-Pryce, but a lot of folks will know him as the ‘other half’ to Alyson Hannigan. He appeared in the British TV movies Sharpe’s Revenge, Sharpe’s Justice and Sharpe’s Waterloo alongside Sean Bean and had roles in the box office movies First Knight and Innocent Lies and the made-for-TV movie Noah’s Ark. He has most recently been seen in several episodes of his wife’s show How I Met Your Mother and in Private Practice.  It is rumored he will have the lead role in a movie tentatively called Milo.

Seamus Dever

Seamus Dever

Seamus Dever – Seamus had a lot of guest appearances in various shows like Crossing Jordan, Charmed, JAG and even Threshold, but is probably best known for his roles as Dr. Ian Devlin in General Hospital and Dr. Chris “Getti” Ferlinghetti on the Lifetime series Army Wives. He is now starring as one of the detectives on the new ABC drama Castle, alongside Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic.

Scott Elrod

Scott Elrod

Scott Elrod – Scott’s resume doesn’t include much, but he had a memorable recurring role in Men In Trees and had guest appearances in CSI: NY and CSI: Miami. He has two projects in the works, including Hellhounds and Hard Breakers. He will be seen in a Hallmark Channel movie called Uncorked with Julie Benz (from Dexter).  And, he has several projects in the works, including Hellhounds, Hard Breakers, Knifepoint and The Baster with Jennifer Aniston and Patrick Wilson.
