My not-so-guilty pleasure came back last night.
In a nod to my fascination with all things rich and dysfunction, I present a recap of the best that the Hamptons had to offer everyone’s favorite New Yorkers.
S has been moping. Looks like she’s returned to her status as the only girl in NYC who can’t be happy at home.
C has been working his way through the tourists that have come to Long Island from South America, and secretly missing B.
B couldn’t get C out of her head all summer long, which poor thing. Such a terrible way to spend your time. Being her, she plots her revenge against C by bringing a fake boyfriend back from France.
D has been womanizing his way through Manhattan, while not writing a story as part of his internship. Too busy trying (and failing) to get over S. Just what we needed.
J worked too hard at her internship, only to be rebuffed by her immediate boss. The Upper East Side is never kind.
Of course, there was plenty of other drama surrounding the White Party, but it wouldn’t be Gossip Girl without it.
