SPOILERS: Who’s Coming to Fringe?

Sure, Leonard Nimoy as William Bell was something of a shocker, but the latest casting news for Fringe has my mind racing. The show is casting the possibly recurring role of “Walter’s Wife”. That’s right, no name given and she’s just his “wife”, not “Peter’s Mother”. She’s in her mid-40s and described as “both strong and broken, intelligent, attractive, likable, lovely and extremely versatile.” I’m intrigued.

SHUT UP! Shut up, shut up, shut up! I’m so blown away by The Vampire Diaries, and the last two episodes shocked my socks off, but this news has me hanging on by my already chewed fingernails.

The Vampire Diaries Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder

The Vampire Diaries' Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder

What’s coming up on Vampire Diaries? — Monique
MICKEY: Witches and vampires aren’t the only supernatural creatures in Mystic Falls. It won’t be right away, but a major male character will reveal himself to be a werewolf. And don’t think having read the books will help you figure this one out. In fact, the werewolf in question won’t even know he’s a werewolf, initially at least. (TV Guide – Mega Buzz)

Who do you think it could be? My guess is Jeremy. I don’t know why, exactly, but maybe I’ll like him better as a werewolf. Right now, I just want to slap him.

In other spoiler news from TV Guide, Glee’s Rachel and Finn are a no-go; we get more on Fringe’s Broyles as we see him in the alternate universe; and the burning question about True Blood’s Terry and Arlene is answered.

We have really let this ball drop – and bounce a few times! So, we’re pulling it out of the basement and making it all shiny for you in an attempt to make Nice Girls TV your one-stop spot for our favorite shows. Here is what we have for you in spoilers this week.

90210
“My 90210 moles are rumbling about two new characters who appear to spell the end of Liomi (Naoliam? I’m bad at this). A sexy surfer hottie will spar with Liam on the beach, and Naomi will fake an interest in the environment to snare her new do-gooder, college-aged boyfriend.” ~ TV Guide

Bones
“Exec producer Hart Hanson tells me that early in the season Angela will break her vow of celibacy with a man. “It’s someone we’ve seen before,” he teases. “I just told Michaela who it was and she shrieked.” It’s probably no coincidence that in the same episode, Angela and Brennan’s friendship is tested like never before. “Angela and Brennan have a big fight,” Hanson reveals. “Their friendship is deeply challenged. It’ll be the first time that Brennan realizes that being totally rational about something isn’t necessarily being a good friend. And every time she has done that in the past, Angela has come around and excused Brennan’s behavior. This time, if they’re friendship is to be maintained, Brennan has to take a step toward the irrational.” ” ~ The Ausiello Files

Gordan Gordan Wyatt (Stephen Fry) will be back. ~ Zap2It (Korbi TV)

Castle
Any update on the Beckett/Castle situation? Do we know how long Castle’s going to be in the doghouse for going behind Kate’s back regarding her mother’s case? — Linda
MICKEY: Who’s to say that’s why he’ll be in the doghouse? As Season 2 begins, Beckett will be stewing over something entirely different because while she’s off doing the gritty police work, Castle will get them both in trouble yet again. ~ TV Guide

True Blood
Sookie will be planting her luscious lips all over Eric’s hard body in Sunday’s episode. ~ The Ausiello Files

Supernatural
Ever wonder what Sam would be like if he was totally evil? You’ll find out in episode 4. ~ The Ausiello Files

Fringe
Right off the bat in the first episode, one character’s alliances will be questioned, and the answer will be heartbreaking for fans of the show. ~ TV Guide Mega Buzz

Leverage
Is this flirtatious behavior between Hardison and Parker on Leverage going to blossom into a romance anytime soon? — Nick
ADAM: Patience, grasshopper. “Like all good TV romances, it will take its time,” the show’s producers tell me. But on Wednesday’s episode, the flirty duo will work very closely to bring down a sensational journalist (Beth Broderick) whose reporting is hurting the reputation of the team’s client. ~ TV Guide Mega Buzz

Eastwick
“I like to have winks to both the book and the movie, even though this is kind of a different world,” executive producer Maggie Friedman says. “But we sort of wink to the fact that Darryl may have been in Eastwick 20 years ago in the ’80s, and maybe there were other witches there at the time.” I hear that Veronica Cartwright, famous for her cherry-puking scene in the movie, and Cybill Shepherd, who has signed on to Eastwick for a multiple-episode arc, are being fitted for black hats and broomsticks as we speak. ~ TV Guide Mega Buzz

“Fringe” Finale Spoiler

April 27, 2009 by BethAnne

Leonard Nimoy is talking a bit more about his role on the season finale of Fringe, due to air May 12 on Fox.

SPOILERS!   SPOILERS!   SPOILERS!   SPOILERS!

J.J. Abrams, who directed you in Star Trek, phoned and extended the invitation to guest-star on Fringe. Give us the setup of “There’s More Than One of Everything.”

Nimoy: It’s one scene. It’s the final scene of the episode, in which I appear with Olivia, with Anna Torv’s character. It’s very brief, but I think interesting, entertaining and there’s enough given in the scene to whet your appetite, that you’ll want to see more of this relationship and what it’s all about. You’ll want to know what it is he has in mind with Olivia, what he wants or needs her for, why he wants to see her, what their past history is about and where they’re going together. What are they planning to do? What are his intentions? All of that is yet to come, and I think there’s going to be some very interesting storytelling.

So whatever dealings he’s had or is going to have with Walter will be a story for another day, for next season?

Nimoy: I’m sure we will learn more about that partnership and what it was all about, what they were trying to accomplish and how they happened to go their separate ways. We know a lot about what happened to Walter, but we don’t know very much about William Bell at all. That’s yet to be discovered.

You’re going to be back for at least two episodes next year. Will they be episodes one and two or spread apart?

Nimoy: I don’t know that they’ll be chronological, sequential. I really don’t know. It will really depend on what the writers have in mind and my availability. And then, if there’s more to be done and we’re having a good time, we’ll do more.   (Source.)

Fantastic news for Trekkies and Fringe fans – Leonard Nimoy has been cast as ‘William Bell’. Fascinating!

According to several Fringe writers and producers, we’ll meet Bell in this season’s finale, There’s More Than One of Everything, which airs May 12th. (Source.)

My inner Trekkie is giggling ridiculously.

SPOILERS: “Dollhouse”, “Fringe” and “The Mentalist”

We know you kids just can’t wait for you fave fixes, so we’ll share some bits we’ve picked up from Kristin. As always, if you don’t want to know, STOP READING NOW.

Last week’s Dollhouse was just the tip of the Jossberg for what’s to come the rest of this season. Check it out:

Scott in Minneapolis: What’s coming up on Dollhouse?
Ever wonder what would happen if the Actives on Dollhouse suddenly woke up? Well, your wishes are granted in the April 6 episode “Needs.” Five Actives—Echo (Eliza Dushku), Victor, Sierra, November and Mike—suddenly awaken and question where they are, what they are doing there and who is in control. The Actives start to remember things about their real lives and reveal more of their backstories, including the fact that November left someone very important behind when she entered the Dollhouse.

Just in case you’ve forgotten about Red John, take a look at this:

Kelly in Nassau, Bahamas: Any news on The Mentalist? I love that show.
Just that ol’ smiley face is back. Yep, in episode 21 of The Mentalist, called “Red John’s Footsteps,” bloody smiley faces start appearing around town following the kidnapping of twin sisters. Do you think it’s really him, or could it be another copycat?

It’s been so long since we’ve seen an episode of Fringe, I had forgotten about this character.

Henry R.: When will we get another Observer ep of Fringe?
On April 7 we definitely get an “Observer?” episode of Fringe. We say Observer with a question mark because the team finds a bald, silent and seemingly empathic child who never eats or pees and who looks a lot like an Observer mini-me, but whose, uh, peccadilloes could be explained by perfectly reasonable science. Then again, this is Fringe, so he’s got to be a wee Observer…right?

UPDATED: 3/25/09:

We have a Fringe spoiler update for you from TV Guide:

Are we ever going to meet Dr. William Bell on Fringe or is he just a red herring? — Rob
MICKEY: Get ready, Rob! “I can’t wait to see who it is, how it’s revealed or what he represents or where he comes from,” John Noble told us of the identity of his former partner in weird science. I’m hearing Dr. Bell will be ID’d in the finale, but that he might not be formally introduced in his first appearance, which could be sooner. So keep your eyes peeled.

SPOILERS: “Bones” Surprises and “Family Guy”?

Zack is back! According to Ausiello:

Question: What’s the latest on Zack returning to Bones? –Will
Ausiello: The latest is he’s probably definitely most likely going to be
in the finale on May 14. And he won’t be the only Bones alum appearing in
the ep. “The finale is pretty much going to have everyone who has ever been
on the show,” reveals exec producer Stephen Nathan, who says Patricia Belcher
(Caroline) and Ryan O’Neal (Max) are among the MVPs slated to join Eric
Millegan (Zack). “It’s going to be an interesting last episode of the season.
Very different for us, but it should make sense in the context of the season.”

And, in a bizarre twist for the season, Family Guy’s Stewie, gets into Booth’s head. What?

David Boreanaz’ Bones alter ego will suffer a life-threatening health crisis this May that will cause him to hallucinate. Well, I can finally reveal the destination of his head trip: Quahog, Rhode Island. Put another way, Booth is getting a visit from Family Guy’s acid-tongued baby villain, Stewie!

“This is going to sound odd, but it is a completely believable event given [Booth's condition],” maintains executive producer Stephen Nathan, who declined to reveal the mystery ailment causing his visions. “It’s not just a fantasy of ours. There’s medical research to back up what’s going on with Booth. There are conditions where you can see cartoon characters.”

Well, I guess that’s better than seeing dead people. Oh wait, he’s already done that!

It’s the day after Ausiello and we’ve got some spoilers for you Bones , Fringe and Mentalist Nice People.

First up, Bones:

Ausiello: The March 26 episode is a big one for Tamara Taylor’s Cam, who
discovers that her ex-boyfriend has been murdered. “This was the love of
her life,” explains exec producer Hart Hanson. “She lived with him for two
years and raised his daughter. She now has to go back and tell the now-16-year-old
daughter — who doesn’t remember her — that her father is dead. It’s a
very emotional episode for us. And Tamara is brilliant in it.”

The Mentalist:

Ausiello: The season finale will revisit the mystery surrounding who killed
Patrick’s wife and child. Furthermore, executive producer Chris Long teases
that “something happens at the end of [the episode] that will change the
way you look at Patrick.” As long as you don’t change the way he looks,
we’re good!

Fringe:

Ausiello: “Peter’s shady past will catch up with him,” reveals exec producer
Jeff Pinkner. “Specifically the work he was doing in Iraq at the start of
the series. Those criminal doings will have direct consequences to his work
on the Fringe team.” Got anything else, Mr. Pinkner? “Olivia will learn
more about the experiments done to her as a child with the drug Cortexiphan.
She’ll also meet a man who underwent the same experiments as a child –
but [he] can’t control the dangerous results.” Got anything else, Mr. Pinkner?
[Crickets] Guess not.

Curiouser and curiouser.
