ONCE UPON A TIME: Kristin Bauer to Play Maleficent (EXCLUSIVE)

Kristin Bauer van Straten just tweeted that she was “packing for Vancouver – to shoot #OnceUponaTime – new  fantastical TV show.” Once Upon a Time was number two on our Nice Girls list of top five new fall shows and most of us are huge True Blood fans as well. Kristin is a fan favorite on True Blood, playing Pam, the child of Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) and his devoted assistant at Fangtasia. Details as to what Kristin’s role will be are not yet known but you can be sure that we will keep on top of it and bring you the latest news as soon as it breaks.

Updated 09.27.11: We can confirm exclusively that Kristin Bauer will play Maleficent, the evil witch from Sleeping Beauty lore, on ABC’s upcoming Once Upon a Time. Currently booked for a single episode, Kristin says there’s a possibility of it being a recurring role.
