TIIMELESS Thoughts on The Kennedy Curse

Timeless this week deals with JFK. A young JFK actually who ends up needing to be brought back to the present. Of course this causes all sorts of issues and the team (as well as Jessica) do everything they can to keep history accurate.

Leah’s Thoughts
The Good
JFK in the future! How fun that they brought someone back in the Lifeboat. Even though history didn’t change in a way that meant JFK wasn’t assassinated I like how Timeless is of the opinion some things can’t be changed. Not everything should be “fixable”.
Flynn wasn’t in much of the episode but I liked how he, despite all of his issues, always has Lucy’s back. Even if that only means sharing a beer.

The Bad
Lucy’s mother and Lucy. Lucy’s mother kidnapping people to keep Lucy off missions? That is a new one and a desperate move. She is going to need to make a choice and soon.
And Lucy – I know it was the adult thing to do but talking Jessica into giving Wyatt another chance. NOOOOOOO.

Roz’s Thoughts
The Good
On a shallow level, I like how they referenced Robert Frost and JFK. One of the last things JFK did in Massachusetts before he was killed involved dedicating a library in Frost’s name at my alma mater.
Equally, I love the lifeboat bringing someone to us, like Leah said. JFK matters so much to all of is.

The Bad

Team Rittenhouse needs to go! Nixon is an awful choice for a replacement for JFK (and I say that as someone who lives near Nixon’s birthplace. I’ll take almost anyone over Nixon!
