Women of the Week

Supergirl is a favorite NiceGirl show and this week we’d like to highlight two of the actresses on that show as our Women of the Week.

Nominated by Ange: We’ve seen this coming for weeks and even for months have known that Lima was leaving the show but that didn’t make witnessing Alex and Maggie breaking up this week hurt any less. Break ups are never easy and the Sanvers break up was not one taken lightly – it was the break up of two people who are very much in love with each other but sometimes love isn’t enough and these two knew that they had to be mature about where they were heading because there are some beliefs that you can’t compromise on like the topic of having kids. It was pretty bittersweet watching this episode and seeing them share final moments in their relationship; Leigh and Lima knocked it right out of the park, particularly in that final scene and for a moment I forgot that I was watching two characters on screen breaking up and rather felt like I was there with them in the moment.
