OZ COMIC-CON Sydney 2017: Guests we’re looking forward to seeing

By  |

Over the weekend, Oz Comic-Con had its penultimate event for the year up in Brisbane and is closing out 2017 with Oz Comic-Con Sydney this coming weekend. This year the event moves locations to the much larger ICC (International Convention Centre) down in Darling Harbour and here are just a few of the many guests that we can’t wait to see…

Jason Palmer

Artists Jason Palmer and Stuart McKenny
I discovered both Palmer and McKenny’s work whilst attending SDCC a few years ago so I’m pretty stoked to have not just one but both talented artists attending Oz Comic-Con Sydney. I’ll definitely have some money saved to purchase art of my favorite shows and even movies from these two!

David Guintoli

GRIMM stars David Guintoli & Bitsie Tulloch
Stars and real life couple Guintoli and Tulloch will be hitting the stage as well as meeting fans this weekend. While the show may have ended earlier this year, we can’t wait to hear about their experiences from the six seasons and what fond memories they have playing Nick and Juliette/Eve.

Matt Davis

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES stars Matt Davis & Michael Malarkey
THE VAMPIRE DIARIES has quite the fanbase down under with the majority of the cast making their way Down Under for THE VAMPIRE DIARIES conventions over the years at one point or another. Oz Comic-Con is Davis and Malarkey’s first Australian convention appearance and despite THE VAMPIRE DIARIES being another show that ended earlier this year, there’ll still be plenty of questions for the men behind Alaric and Enzo this weekend. Not to mention, we can’t wait to hear what they’ve been up to post-show (and are secretly hoping Malarkey will show off some of his musical chops too).

Linden Ashby

TEEN WOLF stars Linden Ashby & Ian Bohen
With the TEEN WOLF series finale airing tonight, Bohen and Ashby’s appearances this weekend could not have been timed any better. No doubt we’ll have lots of questions for these two at their panels this weekend. Like THE VAMPIRE DIARIES stars, quite a few TEEN WOLF stars have made the trip Down Under over the years for fan conventions and local fans are looking forward to ticking Ashby and Bohen off the list of stars from the show they’ve had the chance to meet.

Jenna Coleman

DOCTOR WHO stars Jenna Coleman & Catrin Stewart
Woo hoo, let’s hear it for some Girl Power with stars Coleman and Stewart. Coleman also stars in another Nice Girls favorite, Victoria so no doubt her panel will be filled with lots of time traveling adventures and annecdotes. We can’t wait!

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS star Keegan Allen
Keegan was only in the country just a few months ago for OZ Comic-Con Melbourne, but with meeting fans being one of his favorite things about conventions, he is back for more. When he was last here, it was mere few days after the PRETTY LITTLE LIARS series finale aired, so now that the dust has settled a bit, we’re looking forward to hearing his perspective on everything now as well as learning what he’s been up to.

Tim Rozon

WYNNONA EARP star Tim Rozon
A Nice Girl fave, we’re looking forward to seeing Rozon this weekend. While he is best known as Doc Holliday and Mutt Schitt from SCHITT’S CREEK, this Nice Girl remembers him as Tommy Quincy on Nick’s INSTANT STAR and is looking forward to hearing some annecdotes from the show.

There are plenty more guests at Oz Comic-Con Sydney including stars from Game of ThronesSupernaturalAmerican Horror Story and more. Ange is the Girl from Oz who travelled the States. Teen dramas, rom-comedies and superhero shows are her weakness. She also loves a good crime and medical drama and probably watches more TV than she can handle…
