Advanced Review: I’M NOT READY FOR CHRISTMAS, a Two-hour Hallmark Channel Original Movie

By  |

Alicia Witt goes with holiday movies like marshmallows go with hot chocolate. In tomorrow night’s two-hour Hallmark Channel event, “I’m Not Ready for Christmas”, she plays Holly Nolan, a career-driven workaholic on the fast-track in the advertising world, but out of touch with the people that matter the most.

“I’m Not Ready for Christmas” is a fun and funny look at what can happen when a Christmas wish comes true. Think a holiday “Liar, Liar”. Fed up with no-shows and broken promises from Holly, her 9-year old niece tells her Christmas wish to a Santa who is stationed outside of her school. Unbeknown to her, this is a very magical Santa who grants her wish after watching the disappointment that Holly inflicts one too many times.

Anna’s wish was for Holly to always tell the truth and to be unable to lie – about anything. In the process, Holly finds love, laughter and herself once again.

“I’m Not Ready for Chrsitmas” premieres Saturday night at 8/7c on the Hallmark Channel.
