QUANTICO Recap: God

By  |

I still find the best way to recap Quantico is to ask all of the million of questions I have when watching this show along with a few observations.

Let’s get started!

The list of people who are Team Alex is growing, isn’t it?

Ryan sure has a thing for shower sex. How did we get from Alex being his partner to that wench he is showering with now?

Who would have thought Caleb would want more of a relationship?

Surveillance is the lesson this week at Quantico and in the future Caleb (who’s Dad is Deputy Directory by the way) is the agent checking all surveillance feeds they have access too. This is a problem since Alex is sure this week that Caleb is the real bomber.

Thanks to Simon, another founding member of Team Alex, Alex is able to watch what Caleb is watching from a laptop remotly connected to the FBI surveillance system.

Alex is watching this feed from a hotel room she is using as her base of operation. Does anyone wonder how she is paying for this? I would have thought the FBI would have been monitoring all of her assets.

Miranda’s son is pretty angry. He did just say his Mom lied and set him up for the attempted school shooting. That’s interesting.

If the NATs surveillance class has taught me anything it is they are really bad at surveillance. This is why a few episodes ago they missed Alex and Shelby hiding in Shelby’s car right outside her house!

In order to get Charlie, her son, under constant surveillance Miranda puts the NATs on the job. They are to follow her and the people in her life. I’m sure that is a solid idea.

The twin who doesn’t like Simon actually sets up a date between the twin that does like Simon and Simon. It’s sweet.

Liam has a daughter that went to the school Miranda’s son almost shot up.

Liam lows his op with Alex in the most ridiculous way – yelling it out loud to Ryan while Ryan is clearly wearing a mic. That’s awesome FBI’ing. (It’s a thing)

Simon admits to the good twin that he isn’t gay. She counters by taking off her head scarf, letting her hair down and telling him she trusts him. Seriously, their kiss might be the sweetest thing I have seen on TV all freaking year.

Shelby’s admission to Caleb that she likes him likes him is pretty good too. Caleb saying, “Don’t lie to me again.” seems ominous.

Oh my word! In the present Shelby is sleeping with Caleb’s Dad. The Deputy Director. No wonder Caleb is upset – his ex sex partner is having an affair with his Dad.

Alex and Shelby see this footage as well. Shelby then has to explain it to Alex and the explenation sounds a lot like she and the Deputy Director are in love.

Miranda and her son have a showdown outside the school he almost shot up. It’s full of tears. While across the parking lot Ryan and Alex have out there issues. Alex is mad he is an agent and following her – obviously. Ryan tries to talk his way out of it. I’m not sure there was an apology in there. Alex didn’t seem to hear one either and she kicks him out of the surveillance van with a warning never to talk to her again.

Shelby goes and finds Caleb at the FBI office and he is still upset – according to him he loved her and she goes and does this. It is completely heartbreaking.

On their first day/weekend off:

Alex changes rooms with wenchy woman. Guess that is how she ends up shower buddies with Ryan.

Shelby and Caleb go on an over night trip

Simon and the good twin were going to go for a walk but when he gets to her room he finds her and her sister there. Understandably he freaks out and in the maylay he falls and hits his head. They get Miranda and Simon comes too – locked in the bathroom.

Speaking of the twins, Caleb sees one of them at the train station a few days before the bombing. New suspect.
