Jesse Metcalfe and Autumn Reeser in A COUNTRY WEDDING

Concluding its celebration of June weddings, The Hallmark Channel will premiere “A Country Wedding”, starring Jesse Metcalfe and Autumn Reeser with Lauren Holly, Laura Mennell, Peter Bryant and Hrothgar Matthews .

Before his wedding to his movie star fiancé, country music sensation Bradley Suttons (Metcalfe) must visit his rural hometown to sell his family’s former house. While there, he reconnects with Sarah (Reeser) – an old friend he gave his late mother’s ring to during their make-believe childhood wedding. The longer Bradley stays in the place he once called home, the closer he grows to both Sarah and the man he once was. As his wedding date approaches, Bradley must decide if his heart belongs to his glamorous fiancé, or the woman he gave a ring to all those years ago.

Autumn Reeser: “I love wedding movies because I will never stop loving weddings. Hallmark Channel is the perfect place for wedding movies because Hallmark Channel is romantic. I think all Hallmark movies have this nostalgic idealistic quality of love that I think we all want to believe in and sometimes I think you want to just pour a cup of tea or a glass of wine and sit down on your couch with your best girlfriends and maybe cry a little and maybe laugh a little and go ‘aww,’ and you can do that when you watch Hallmark.”

Jesse Metcalfe: “This movie is about finding a deeper happiness that comes from your roots and it’s about a real inner happiness that exists regardless of fame or success. [My character] finds himself again when he’s back home.”

“A Country Wedding” premieres Saturday, June 27th, at 9/8c on The Hallmark Channel.
