ABC Family

Boo! 13 Nights of Halloween is Coming to ABC Family!

By  |

I love this time of year! Especially when ABC Family sends us their 13 Nights of Halloween program lineup! Kicking things off on October 19th is an all-day scarefest as “Casper” eases us in with some lighthearted antics and Christina Ricci. As the day rolls on we’ll watch our favorite wizard, Harry Potter, face off with his number one enemy, Lord Voldemort, in the epic two-part finale of the film franchise. We wind up the goulishness with  Jack Skellington and Halloweentown in “The Nightmare Before Christmas”.

This year, ABC Family will introduce world premieres of “The Hunger Games”, the network television premiere of Johnny Depp’s “Dark Shadows” as well as “ParaNorman”. Also, the hilariously scary prank specials “Freak Out”will debut. Wrapping things up on Frightday, Oct. 31st will be my personal favorite, “Poltergeist”, followed by an encore airing of “Casper”.

In addition to the premieres, ABC Family’s “Melissa & Joey” and “Baby Daddy” will air their Halloween special episodes. “Melissa & Joey” should be funny, taking us back to Melissa Joan Hart’s “Sabrina” days with Beth Broderick guest starring.

Finally, Pretty Little Liars will change things up a bit when instead of a special Halloween episode, the girls will gather for the fan-appreciation special, “We Love You to DeAth”.

It’s going to be a spooktacular event and one that you won’t want to miss, so get out those calendars and Sharpies and set up those DVR’s!

Here’s your full shedule:
