PERSON OF INTEREST: Kevin Chapman and Michael Emerson talk season 4 at Comic Con {Video}

The Person of Interest cast took a break from filming season 4 to travel cross country to San Diego for Comic Con and I caught up with them in the press room where we got a bit of insight into what to expect from season 4.

Everyone came around in pairs, so we talked with Michael Emerson (Harold Finch) and Kevin Chapman (Lionel Fusco) together. We also spoke with Jim Caviezel (John Reese) and producer Greg Plageman as well as Amy Acker (Root) and Sarah Shahi (Shaw).

We couldn’t get much out of them, but here are the highlights (after some joking about the sword that was part of the costume of one of my table mates). Emerson in particular was very carefully choosing his words.

• Finch has totally disavowed the Machine and wants nothing to do with it
• Chapman was very non-committal on when Fusco was going to finally find out about the Machine but did tell us that despite the gang being on the down-low, they still find ways to drive him crazy
• Finch’s money still exists, but he can’t get to it, so he has to be creative
• Chapman thought Carter’s death was really powerful, helped Fusco complete his transformation back into a good cop
