BITTEN: It Just Keeps Getting Better

(This story contains spoilers)

Let me start by saying I watch Bitten live. I have three DVR’s and record 60 TV shows a week. So let me say that again, I watch Bitten live. Not on a 15 minute delay so I don’t have to watch the commercials – live. I need the commercials with Bitten so I have time to digest what is happening. Party because I’m not always sure what is happening.

We are about half way through the first season of Bitten and I don’t have everything straight but what I do know is three days after I watch the show I’m still thinking about it. I delete it off my DVR after watching it (it records even though I watch it live) and then the next day I find myself going into the deleted folder and restoring it so I can watch it again. This cycle repeats throughout the week.

27938-bitten-bitten-episode-screencap-1x5I like crime shows and I like shows where I can root for aka swoon over a couple. Bitten is both. There is an underlying bad guy who is stirring up all sorts of drama. He turned a serial killer into a werewolf for heaven sakes. There is also the couple I can root for. Clay and Elena. He did something he shouldn’t have. She won’t forgive him. Yet when the two of them are on screen together I’m riveted. If they don’t end up together I will be annoyed beyond all comprehension. I do like the back and forth of it all though so I’m pretending to be patient while Elena figures it all out.

What I do know is The Pack is being threatened. Also, as seems to be the case with Vampires as well, Werewolves are mostly attractive. Some so attractive *cough* Clay *cough* that I occationally find myself not listening to what is being said because I’m just staring at him. Elena is holding a grudge. Do I blame her? No. Clay turned her into a werewolf without so much as a warning nibble. You should always warn a girl first.

What I am not so clear on is the logistics of someone being a mutt compared to being part of a pack. How come Logan gets to live his life in the city without the drama that goes along with Elena doing the same thing? Where is Stonehaven? Elena seems to be able to pop by when summoned yet everyone talks about how far away Elena moved. Also her boyfriend doesn’t find it the least bit odd that Elena has never spoken about her family and now every four minutes one of them is showing up and she is taking off to be with them.

My advice? Get caught up on the first half of the season and quick because the show is getting better and better and you don’t want to miss out.
