NECESSARY ROUGHNESS: David Anders Joins Season 3

Hot on the heels of casting John Stamos for a recurring role, USA announced that David Anders will be joining Necessary Roughness this summer as part of the company Stamos’ character owns, V3.

Anders will play Troy Cutler, second-in-command to Connor (Stamos) at V3, the world’s premiere sports and talent agency. Having sacrificed his personal life for his career, Troy gets satisfaction getting his hands a little dirty for the company – something that doesn’t sit well with Dr. Dani (Callie Thorne).

Most recently we’ve seen Anders in a recurring role as Dr. Whale/Dr. Frankenstein in Once Upon a Time, another character whose ethics aren’t quite in line. I wonder if he’ll keep his accent for this role.

The 10-episode season is filming in Atlanta for a summer premiere.
