Nice Girls Spoil: 2 Broke Girls, The Mindy Project, Nashville, Psych

By  |

It’s hiatus time for most of our shows, following all the drama of February sweeps, but we’ve got you covered with scoop on what’s coming up when new episodes resume later this month. This week, we’re sneaking peeks at 2 Broke Girls, The Mindy Project, Nashville, and Psych.

2 Broke Girls

The girls no longer have their cupcake shop, but they’re still determined to earn money to grow their business. Max and Caroline get jobs at an insurance agency where Caroline’s business school training quickly make an impact – much to Max’s chagrin. And speaking of “chagrin”, wait until you meet their boss, who has very inappropriate thoughts about Max.

The Mindy Project

In an episode airing at the end of March, when Mindy meets a cute Christian guy who seems perfect, she’s prompted to volunteer herself and her co-workers to provide exams for the inmates at a women’s prison. Once she gets there, though, Mindy is terrified until she finds a kindred spirit. Then, being Mindy, inadvertently starts a prison riot. Also: get ready for another revelation about Morgan’s past and a surprising encounter for Beverly and Betsy.

Nashville

You may have already heard that Deacon is getting a new love interest when Nashville returns from hiatus – a lovely veterinarian named Stacey who doesn’t have a clue who he is or what he does. She’s a breath of fresh air for a man so mired in the past and perceptions. Another possible love interest is making an entrance in the next episode, though, and I have a feeling a lot of fans are going to be miffed when a fan favorite couple is put to the test. Is “it’s complicated” worth the effort? Or will the newcomer convince one half of the fledgling couple that “temporary” fun is a better option?

Psych

You guys, Psych is finally doing a musical. I know, they did a Bollywood thing a couple seasons ago, but this season we’re getting a proper, two-part musical. Psych: The Musical features a serial killer, an escaped mental patient, lots of singing, and the return of a fan favorite. Can you stand it?!?
