NECESSARY ROUGHNESS Star Signs Onto KILLER WOMEN Pilot

By  |

Necessary Roughness leading man Marc Blucas (aka Matt) has landed a role opposite Tricia Helfer in the ABC pilot Killer Women, THR reports. The show centers on Helfer’s character, Molly Parker, the lone female in the testosterone heavy Texas Rangers.

Blucas will play Dan, an East Coast educated DEA agent who is kind of the opposite of Matt: he’s reserved and noncommittal when it comes to relationships. The pair are attracted to each other, but neither wants more than a superficial relationship. So basically it’s a built-in will they/won’t they scenario.

As we saw in last night’s Necessary Roughness season finale, he and Dr. Dani are ready to give it another shot, with marriage and babies definitely on the table, just as casual (?) girlfriend Noelle’s pregnancy test turns up positive. With Necessary Roughness already renewed for a third season, does this mean that Matt is going to choose the baby already on the way rather than the possibility of one with Dr. Dani and move on with his life elsewhere? Or will Blucas pull double-duty if his ABC series is picked up?
