The Secret Circle‘s Phoebe Tonkin will appear in the third episode of The Vampire Diaries‘ new season in a recurring role. According to THR she plays Hayley, a girl from Tyler’s past, who is descibed as “wild, sexy and free-spirited”. As if things aren’t complicated enough for Tyler, being that Klaus is inhabiting his body, one has to wonder how this will further disrupt the relationship between Tyler and Caroline. Poor Caro, the writers never seem to want her happy.
