NICE BOY OF THE WEEK: Jamie Dornan

By  |

Paying tribute to the queen’s first kill on Once Upon a Time, this week’s Nice Boy is none other than Jamie Dornan, the dearly departed Sheriff Graham.

“The Heart is a Lonely Hunter” was the fall season finale for Once Upon a Time and it gave us all the opportunity to see Jamie shine in his role. And shine he did. I almost feel like we’ve been cheated, not being able to really see much of the Sheriff except as a background character on the show. Yet when we do get a Graham-centric episode we see that he is the first one to remember who he really is: the hunter sent by the queen to cut out Snow White’s heart and bring it to her for her morbid collection. After this revelation, he falls dead at Emma’s feet. What an exit!

You’ve seen Jamie before he donned that sheriff’s star. He played a character named Count Axel Fersen in the 2006 film “Marie Antoinette”[easyazon-link asin=”B000M06KJ8″]Marie Antoinette[/easyazon-link], with Kirsten Dunst. He was also the face for Dior Homme (I knew I’d seen him somewhere before!) and a Calvin Klein model.

Jamie also co-starred with the beautiful Jean Simmons in the 2009 drama, “Shadows in the Sun”. What an exciting experience for this young newcomer.

In a recent interview, Jamie admits that he knew his character was going to be the first kill, but he speculates that he could return to the show as his ‘hunter’ character in the fairy world. “Yeah, that’s been discussed definitely. I mean, my fairy-tale character doesn’t die, so there’s always that option. There’s so much that can happen.”

We would love to see Jamie on Once Upon a Time again, but for now I think he’ll look just as good on our Nice Boys lineup, don’t you?

You can re-live Jamie’s final moments at the show’s page on ABC’s website.
