Revenge Recap: Treachery

By  |

Hi NiceGirls! Sorry I’ve been a little MIA lately, but I have been swamped with midterms, papers and project. This Ivy Leaguer sometimes has a hard time keeping up! However, I’m excited to discuss this week’s episode of Revenge!
Emily’s identity swap juvy-roomie partner in crime Amanda (the real Emily) has shown up in the Hamptons! Emily decides to stow her away at Nolan’s, but the little vixen certainly knows how to make a splashy impression. Especially on a certain bar-owner/potential true-love of Emily’s life (in case you’re confused I’m referring to Jack, keep up people!) Nolan also doesn’t trust the other Emily, particularly when he notices the blood on her jacket.
Emily is ready to get other-Emily (aka Amanda) away, far away. She gets her a new passport with the name Kara Wilkens (her mother’s name). We then see a flashback about how the two ladies came to switch identities and see that Amanda doesn’t want to change her name because she doesn’t want to break her connection with Emily.
Lydia is awake from her coma and Victoria is doing everything possible to spark her memory so that she can control her reaction. When Emily comes by with some of Lydia’s things (including the picture which Emily altered so it didn’t show her face) Lydia somehow remembers that something is not right with that girl. Of all things to remember, seriously??? Victoria is also super suspicious about Emily because of Frank’s last words to her. The drama is heightened when Victoria is informed that Frank was killed. So sad, the one person she trusted and he’s dead. I guess that’s what happens when you live in a big glass house (not literally of course).
With news of his parents split, Daniel has decided to quit his job at the Stowaway and take up his father’s internship offer. Making daddy proud and getting his trust fund back all at once, not the worst deal ever made. Unfortunately, the return of the prodigal son was not part of Tyler’s plan.
Emily is questioned by the police in regards to Frank’s murder (suspicious Victoria led them her way). Luckily our clever Emily had an alibi of the fish market to back her up (she even had a time stamped receipt).
Conrad and Victoria get into a fight over Frank’s death, with Victoria accusing him of possibly doing the deed. Conrad swipes back that Frank tried to kill Lydia for Victoria. In fear that Lydia heard (and she did) Victoria shreds up Lydia’s compromising speech. Sneaky Tyler, who is pretty much the creepiest of creepers, goes and puts it back together! For real, dude?
As if things couldn’t get bad enough for Victoria, Daniel decides to move in with Emily after learning that his mother sent the cops to question her. That night Emily slips out of bed to hide Franks phone (which Nolan got for her), unluckily Daniel notices her absence. Hopefully he won’t become suspicious too!
To end the night strong, Emily aka Amanda aka Kara Wilkens shows up at the Stowaway to get in some late night flirting with Jack. Looks like someone missed their flight…
