GRIMM: Soothing Fairy Tales Not Found Here

By  |

Once upon a time, there were two brothers, Jacob and Wilhem GRIMM,  who were bent on preserving their country’s folklore. They took to telling these tales for entertainment, but when they could see how they enthralled their audiences, they decided to tame the stories and make them less frightening, so as to enchant the listener. Since then, these same stories have been polished and re-polished, until Walt Disney got hold of them. Then they became happy-ever-after stories.

All that is about to change. GRIMM removes the polish, uncovers the scary monsters and interrupts happily ever after. And they’ll do it every Friday night beginning tonight at 9/8c, right after “Chuck“. If you’re looking for something to ease you into dreamland, look somewhere else.
