Nice Boy of the Week: Gary Cole

By  |

It gives me great pleasure to introduce this week’s Nice Boy, the talented Gary Cole. Gary will appear as a guest star in the first episode of the season four premiere of True Blood, which airs Sunday, June 26th, on HBO. Chuck fans know Gary as Jack Burton, Sarah Walker’s father. Beyond that, Gary’s credits are extensive, and include Entourage, The West Wing, Family Guy (voice), Kim Possible (voice), Wanted, Shark, Desperate Housewives, The Good Wife, The Practice, American Gothic, Midnight Caller, Psych and much more.

Gary’s film credits include Immortality Bites, Pineapple Express, Conspiracy, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, The Ring 2, Cry Wolf, Win a Date with Tad Hamilton, One Hour Photo, Cadet Kelly, In the Line of Fire to name a few.

Gary is an Illinois native, born and raised in a suburb of Chicago. His first acting gig was on stage in a high school production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown playing Snoopy, and later joined Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theater Company. He went on to appear in several off-Broadway productions in New York.

It’s always a pleasure to watch Gary in any role he takes on, and we love seeing him on our Nice Boys Wall of Fame.

Liz is a wife and mother of three from the Nashville area who likes being able to discuss her favorite TV shows with adults sometimes. She is addicted to the Sookie Stackhouse novels and was a huge fan of the HBO series based on the books, True Blood. Her other favorite shows include Chuck, Grimm, Pretty Little Liars, Blindspot, Heroes Reborn, The Goldbergs, Sleepy Hollow, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter, just to name a few.
