GLEE: Gwyneth Paltrow Sings Cee Lo

By  |

British breakout Cee Lo Green is a current obsession of mine. The first single from his new album, “F*** You”, is so catchy that even a non-swearer like me can’t help but belt it out. When I heard that it would be featured on Glee, and by none other than Oscar-winning guest star Gwyneth Paltrow, I wondered how that would be possible. Not to worry – for family-friendly consumption, the F-word is now “Forget” and it’s just as catchy as before.

Props to Gwyneth here. Her dancing is a little stiff, and we’ve seen the “older white teacher earns cool points through song and dance” bit before, but she got into the spirit of it. The photos below also show her dancing with Matthew Morrison while singing a “Singing In the Rain”/”Umbrella” mashup. Can she hold her own in a one-on-one with the more experienced Mr. Schue?

This episode includes mini-Glee kids, too. Not sure what that’s about, but they’re awfully cute. Gwyneth’s first appearance on Glee is Tuesday, November 16 at 8/7c.

Let’s go get some TACOS!
