Psych Goes Back to College

Starting on October 25, the USA Network series Psych will embark on a 10-city college campus tour, starting at the University of Florida. Each campus will be overloaded with Psych themed activities, including an advanced sneak peek of the show’s fall season premiere, “Extradition II: The Actual Extradition Part,” which is set to premiere on Wednesday, November 10 at 10 PM (9C).

The show’s stars – James Roday and Dule Hill – will be making special appearances at select campuses throughout the tour, and each event will be hosted by a member of the show’s writing team, as well as series creator, writer and executive producer Steve Franks. These events will also feature a moderated talent Q&A, interactive trivia and premium giveaways, including fully loaded iPads and collectibles.

In addition to the live visits, USA is announcing “Campus Wars,” where major colleges and universities will have the chance to be a part of Psych history. Starting Monday, November 1 and running through the show’s season five finale on Wednesday, December 22, fans can compete to get their college or university’s name into an upcoming episode of the show.

At Club Psych, fans can assign any top college or university to their profiles and every time they earn points (by watching videos, playing games or participating in other digital activities), the points can be credited to their school. At the end of the show’s fifth season, the school with the most points will be featured in a new episode when the series returns for its sixth season next summer.

The Psych College Tour will hit the following cities*:

Monday, October 25 – The University of Florida
Tuesday October 28 – The University of Oregon
Monday, November 1 – The University of Georgia
Tuesday, November 2 – Boston University
Wednesday, November 3 – The University of Texas at Austin
Thursday, November 4 – The University of California, Santa Barbara (Psych’s fictional hometown)
Monday, November 8 – Arizona State University and The University of Michigan
Tuesday, November 9 – Northwestern University

*A 10th tenth school will be named shortly.

Again, Psych will be back on the USA Network on November 10 at 10 PM (9C).
