Nina Tassler was serious when she said last week that although Three Rivers is cancelled, CBS wanted to keep working with Alex O’Loughlin. Ausiello just broke the news that CBS is courting Alex to headline the reboot of Hawaii Five-0 that the network wants to have on the air next autumn. What do you think, would you watch Alex as a cop in Hawaii?

I will probably watch it at first but would much rather they bring back Moonlight.

  2. Connie says:

I think it’s a great idea. It’s not really a remake, it’s more of a sequel. Alex does great in action shows and I know he can pull this off.

  3. Lynn says:

This could be really good! The guys behind this (Fringe) did an amazing job with Star Trek AND it would have sexy Alex in action! ‘Nuff said.

  4. Jessica says:

I don’t think it is a good idea at all. Why can’t they find an original series instead of trying to do remakes? If #3 gets cancelled I’m afraid it will have an affect on his marketing appeal. I would rather see him in a “Criminal Minds” spinoff or something along those lines. Don’t see him as a Jack Lord. I love him, but sorry.

I love everything that Alex has ever done, and I will watch anything that he does in the future. Alex is a star and can do no wrong on film. Moonlight should have never been cancelled, we all know that – and Three Rivers was a great show. CBS just screwed up by airing the wrong episode as the premiere and by putting a new show in the slot they did on Sunday night – pushed late by their own football and up against Sunday night football on NBC and consistently against such things as the World Series, the AMAs, etc. If it had been aired on a weeknight it would still be on.
One day soon Alex is going to be such a huge movie star he won’t even be on a TV series anymore. In the meantime, I love seeing him each week, and whatever he does will be awesome. Alex is a star.

I love and admire Alex O’Loughlin and will support him in anything he does

  7. Lynn says:

He’s sought after and whatever he chooses I’ll be there! He was HOT as a cop in The Shield and add in a tropical setting…I am so there!
