It’s a big premiere day here at Nice Girls HQ with two favorites returning and a potential new favorite debuting, plus supernatural fare from the CW. Hurrah for scripted television!

Bones – FOX 8/7c – SEASON PREMIERE
“The Harbinger in the Fountain” – It’s been six weeks since Booth and Brennan have seen each other. Booth has been recovering from brain surgery, and Brennan has been on a dig in Guatemala. Angela’s psychic, Avalon Harmonia, reveals while reading Angela’s tarot cards that there are multiple bodies buried under a Washington, DC fountain. Angela shares the information with Brennan and Booth, but they’re both a little skeptical considering the source. The lead pans out, and the duo find the remains of 11 bodies exactly where the psychic said they would be. Meanwhile, Sweets has certified Booth mentally fit to return to duty after his brain surgery, but Booth is still experiencing some side effects from the coma. Cyndi Lauper guest stars.

The Vampires Diaries – the CW 8/7c
“The Night of the Comet” – As Mystic Falls prepares for a festival to celebrate the passing of a comet, Vicki  is in the hospital recovering from the attack she can barely remember. Stefan goes to the hospital and tries to use his abilities to make sure Vicki doesn’t remember what really happened, but his attempt is cut short when Vicki’s brother Matt  arrives. Jeremy continues to struggle at school and with his feelings for Vicki. At a parent/teacher conference, Mr. Tanner (guest star Benjamin Ayres) makes Aunt Jenna feel that she is failing as a surrogate parent, especially when it comes to Jeremy. Elena decides to go to the Salvatore house to talk to Stefan, but finds his charming brother Damon instead. Damon reveals surprising information about Stefan’s past, and when Stefan arrives home, Elena is confused and embarrassed to realize that he isn’t happy to see her there. Meanwhile, Vicki’s memory of the attack begins to come back to her.

Fringe – FOX 9/8c – SEASON PREMIERE
“A New Day in the Old Town” – In the stunning first season finale, Olivia traveled to an intriguing parallel universe to meet with Massive Dynamic founder William Bell (guest star Leonard Nimoy). Season Two opens with her shocking return to this perplexing alternate reality, while Peter, unknowingly in a race against time with an ominous mobile force, pursues information about Olivia’s visit. Walter reenters the lab to cook up a bit of fringe science, and of course, some custard for Peter’s birthday.

Supernatural – the CW 9/8c
“Good God, Y’All” – Castiel tells Sam and Dean that he is going to search for God, who will be able to defeat Lucifer. Bobby’s old hunter friend, Rufus (guest star Steven Williams), is panicked about demons attacking his town, and begs Bobby for help. Sam and Dean arrive at the town and realize there is a spell over the townspeople, making them hallucinate that they are demons and causing them to kill one another.
