New Face on “The Mentalist”

The Mentalist is adding a new character to their lineup for next fall. His name is Sam Glenn, and he is a California Bureau of Investigation Agent, about 40 – 49 years old and attractive. According to SpoilerTV, “He was Detective Teresa Lisbon’s (Robin Tunney) mentor as she was coming up through the ranks – in fact, they even dated for a while at one time. He is the head of a division that has been given the Red John murder investigation. He is the one person who doesn’t fall for Patrick Jane’s (Simon Baker) charming ways.”
Appearing in about a 7-episode arc, they are looking for a “name actor”. Who do you think fits the bill?

I am going with Blair Underwood … he’s tough and I can see him as a cop, but you can also see why Lisbon would have flipped for him. He’s a good meanie when he wants to be (Madea’s Family Reunion, for example).

I think they should cast David James Elliot from JAG, he would be perfect fot the part of the new agent.
