Nice Boy of the Week: Alex O’Loughlin

We here, at NiceGirlsTV, were huge fans of the canceled CBS series, Moonlight. Alex O’Loughlin played one of the hottest vampires on television, and we have been fortunate enough to nab a couple of exclusive interviews with him, most recently, last October. We’ve been following Alex since Moonlight and were very happy to find out he had signed a one year deal with CBS, to work on various projects. With his upcoming appearance on Criminal Minds and his recent, almost-done-deal for the Three Rivers pilot, we were more than happy to award him our Nice Boy of the Week spot. The fact that he’s a sweetheart may have had a bit to do with that.

Hailing from Australia, Alex’s credits include The Incredible Journey of Mary Bryant, The Oyster Farmer, Feed, The Invisible, August Rush and The Shield. Alex will be appearing with Kate Beckinsale in Whiteout this fall.

    Thanks so much for awarding Alex your Nice Boy of the Week spot! Alex is the most talented, gorgeous, sexy actor ever who happens to be a caring, heartfelt, genuine young man. I love him as Mick in Moonlight but I also love him performing all his other characters.
    I can’t wait to watch him on the Big Wheel and keep my fingers crossed for Three Rivers be picked up by CBS

While Moonlight is my fave role for Alex I’ll still be watching when he appears on Criminal Minds April 29th and hoping his pilot of ‘Three Rivers’ takes off. In the meantime, there is always Moonlight on the SciFi Channel, Fridays at 9/8c…

    Thank you so much for making Alex your Nice Boy of the Week. He truly is a Nice MAN! He takes a personal interest in his fans & updates his MySpace pages with comments from his fans. He writes blogs letting us know what is going on in his life. He is that rare Hollywood star who still has both feet firmly planted on the ground.
    We are all excited by his April 29th episode of Criminal Minds called “The Big Wheel” and we area all standing in the wings waiting to throw our support behind Alex if the “Three Rivers” pilot makes it into the Fall line up for CBS. He has so much to offer as an actor……..and TPTB will soon find out!

    Thank you for awarding Alex O’Loughlin this wonderful title. I agree, he absolutely deserves it! He’s the only actor who made watching TV much more interesting for me. I miss seeing him. Alex O’Loughlin combines fantastic handsomeness with a sharp mind, empathy, versatility and a wonderful sense of humor. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the approval of THREE RIVERS for Fall 09 on CBS.
