Rob Thomas News of Another Variety

My love for Veronica Mars has lead me to appreciate Rob Thomas’ wit more. While I, along with plenty of other women my age, adore Drive Me Crazy (which is also making the rounds on HBO right now), I’ve been looking forward to his remake of Cupid.

However, I’m not sure if others have been aware of Party Down, which is a project he had worked on before with a few VM alums (both writers and actors.) Well, according to my friend Rae from Ramblings from a TV Whore has learned that Party Down is about to make its way to a boob tube near you later this year.

It is escaping me at this moment who first started to talk up this show of LA Waiters (and actors) trying to make it, but as my profile says, I will watch just about anything dealing with the vapid and shallow (or slightly famous) in the City of Angels.
